SELF PORTRAIT LINOCUT

      This is my Self Portrait Linocut. For this project I wanted to include a lot of texture in the portrait, which you can find in the bookshelf. For the background I wanted to keep the background that was already there. I felt that it would look nicer if I was grounded in a  room. I also contrasted the patterns of the book shelf with solid black and white in the window. If I were to do this again I would work slower, because at some points in the linocut I slipped and took out some of the outline.
